I was watching a movie on my PS3 when I thought I was restarting the the movie the sound went completely silent on the movie. I tried another DVD and still no sound. I also reset my receiver to its default settings thinking some button got pressed incorrectly. The sound from the receiver works for television (as input) but not for the DVD (the picture is still fine).

Any ideas that could have caused this?

BTW---I'm using HDMI (video) to projector and Digital Optical (sound) to receiver.
