mame arcade
I was working on my mame arcade. I added some newer game like Street Fighter II and such as the hardware increased from a 1.8 celeron to a 3.33 celeron d.
I use advancecd for the unit which makes it easier to upgrade.. just reburn the cd-rw.
Anyway, I switched my xarcade controls from 4 way to 8 way. Is this causing the freezing? Am I overloading the inputs with 2 8 way joysticks and 12 buttons?
It is not a crash and the game still plays, but there is a 5 second pause into the game where it seems like it is trying to catch up again.
Any thoughts before I spend hours diagnosing it?
Oh. I am using a keywiz and not a keyboard hack.
