Hello All,
I just thought I would start a best sounding SACD & DVD Audio thread.
I just got a pair of paradigm Studio 20's v5, and have rediscovered my SACD & DVD audio collection!
1.Pat Metheny, Imaginary Day, is an Amazing sounding DVD audio. I didnt relize it for all these years.
2.Roxy Music's Avalon is an Amazing SACD, definately on of the best out there.
3.Allman Bro's Eat A Peach/Fillmore.

beck - sea change has the best fidelity of any recording i've heard. i have the dvd-a so i can't speak for the sacd.
as mentioned, hotel california is very nice. same with elton john's sacd's.
bonnie raitt - nick of time sounds great. alison krauss and union station - live sounds fantastic...especially for a live album. note: the rear channels are only used for crowd noise.

This track is actually the only one on the disc that was NOT mixed discretely. They had lost the original masters for this track so the surround mix for this particular track had to be matrixed. Go figure. :)
