IMO, you got a really great deal. 257Tony 05-06-09, 02:11 PM That is a good price considering those are all good/great games. Did you get the 80 gig with the 4 USB ports and BC? RJ15234 05-06-09, 02:17 PM That is a good price considering those are all good/great games. Did you get the 80 gig with the 4 USB ports and BC? 3 months old, I doubt it. Vizion47 05-06-09, 02:29 PM 3 months old, I doubt it. Actually more like a good way to tell if the seller was lying. Cygnus311 05-06-09, 02:33 PM Is that the sequel to LittleBigPlanet?!?! :D R1Jester 05-06-09, 02:45 PM No, its not the BC unit, kind of the only bad part but I still have the PS2 if I want to play them, plus I heard that BC can really be hit or miss. And I have the receipt from when the games and system were bought, 2/16/09. good catch Cygnus, I said I was new! silvam14 05-06-09, 02:54 PM Congrats! With that list of games, I would kiss your wife/girlfriend goodbye for a while Dan C OSG 05-06-09, 02:55 PM No, its not the BC unit, kind of the only bad part but I still have the PS2 if I want to play them, plus I heard that BC can really be hit or miss. Nice deal if it works , have you checked the online, left it on for more than an hour to be sure it doesnt over heat? Good deal if it all works well. Porter_ 05-06-09, 03:30 PM play mgs4 first. really great game. serlenbeck 05-06-09, 03:55 PM your new and we're all jerks. together we will have good fun. Stay far away from this guy joeblow 05-06-09, 04:16 PM Looks like a great haul... make sure you splurge on a good Bluray movie or two as well. Dan C OSG 05-06-09, 04:48 PM Stay far away from this guy you still alive ...??? I thought i beat you with an empty scotch bottle, and burried you in the nom pile R1Jester 05-06-09, 09:58 PM scotch bottle beating, sounds like my kind of group. It's been on for about an hour, but I am having some wireless connectivity issues. It sees my router but can't obtain an IP address. So I logged on to the router and designated an IP for it. Haven't tried it yet, but will put it through the paces. Do I need to port forward or just dmz the deisgnated IP address? number1laing 05-06-09, 10:23 PM R1Jester, you definitely need to port forward at least, but I just stuck mine in the DMZ. But I don't think that has anything to do with the IP address issues. Make sure you set the right password, etc. I was having problems with that last week when I got my eee PC. KingShorty 05-06-09, 11:01 PM I'd portforward over dmz all the time. R1Jester 05-07-09, 08:51 AM Figures as port forwarding is one aspect I haven't grasped yet. If it helps I have a older netgear wireless router, WGT624 Not sure on the version I have so I don't know which upgrade to download. Anyway, will this one work, and how exactly do I tell it which ports to open up? I have the port specific numbers from some swift google searching, however, the uber tech speak for portforwarding went over my head. The selection it said to choose I didnt have, there was about 10 (AIM, FTP,.......) RoguishClyde 05-07-09, 11:32 AM I'd portforward over dmz all the time. I have mine set to DMZ, can you explain or at least give a reason why Port Forwarding is you first choice. I understand the security issues and stuff like that but, to me DMZ is the easiest and I can't realy tell the difference in performance if there even is one. ;) mboojigga 05-07-09, 11:46 AM 80Gig PS3, 3 months old, with 7 games, two controllers and HDMI for $425:D Games: GH3 MGS4 Resistance 2 Little big world Motorstorm Madden 09 COD4 That is a rare deal you have. If anyone has any info to the contrary I'd be interested in reading it. NJ3118 05-07-09, 01:36 PM Congrats and WELCOME! Let us know when you see some daylight confidenceman 05-07-09, 01:50 PM Congrats and WELCOME! Let us know when you see some daylightOnce you do start to see daylight again, go to the store and pick up Uncharted, Warhawk, and Killzone 2, then head back into your hole and get back to work! maximuslcd 05-07-09, 01:55 PM you'll love motorstorm if you like racing. And dont listien to anyone saying you should worry about it overheating:eek: I havent forwarded any ports on mine and I'm nat 3 and never had a problem playing online, so at least for me its a non issue..if you feel you need to do that you can go to portward.com and select your router and what system(ps3) and it will show you exactly how to do it...congrats! number1laing 05-07-09, 02:03 PM Once you do start to see daylight again, go to the store and pick up Uncharted, Warhawk, and Killzone 2, then head back into your hole and get back to work! I'd add Demon's Souls and SF4 to that list. p.s. and Valkyria Chronicles and Dead Space. Etc. R1Jester 05-07-09, 05:21 PM So now I can get an IP address but I am getting the infamous dns error. I've tried rerouting to the opendns primary and sceondary, updated the latest router firmware, 97% signal strength, restarted the router and PS3, still nothing....any ideas? bdoyledimou 05-07-09, 08:36 PM reset the ps3 to the defaults and start over.. it's happened to me before as well.. this cleaned it up. R1Jester 05-08-09, 07:17 AM Did you set the DNS on your PS3, or on your router? Or neither? |
