It means that you'll get a theme that is dedicated to the main character being played as a "hero" instead of a "villain"... "hero" = blue electricity, "villain" = red electricity along with a different looking main character (dirtier looking)

No, I don't believe you get the goodies retro-actively. There was a give-away of some sort before I started my subscription, and I never received it. I honestly don't remember what it was tho..
