Hello everyone...was wondering if any of you could give me some advice...

We have two remotes, the Directv/receiver one and the Sony one. We use the receiver remote to turn on/off, volume, etc.

The other day, it would not turn the TV off, or control the volume (after I manually turned it on), but would obviously navigate the Directv menu just fine. The Sony remote does not work either, so I know it is not a battery issue, but an issue with the TV itself.

Any thoughts?

I recommend asking in the forum for your TV. It is a problem with the TV, not the remote, as you pointed out.
