Channels 206 and 208 are now terrible with odd projection.
The picture is cut off on the sides and over compressed (leaving gaps) top and bottom.

I have CNBC (208) on all day, every week day.
I have played with settings on the Dish receiver menus.
It is happening on both a 52" Sharp and a 42" Vizio, both LCD.

This has become really annoying.

I do not think I explained the problem well.

On CNBC, 208 and FOXB, 206 the picture is stretched horizontally so that about 5% of the
picture is clipped off or not visible on each side.

There is also a small gap with no picture at the top and bottom of the screen.

I have tried every adjustment I can find on both the Dish and TV menus.

Is anyone else seeing this problem on Dish network?

Just checked it here on a 211 HD receiver and it looks normal on both channels. I do not see the issue to which you refer. Odd that it is only those two channels for you otherwise I'd suggest you check your TV's settings to make sure you are not in some sort of zoom mode since you are sure you in "HD Normal" on your dish receiver. You may try unplugging your receiver and letting it set for a few minutes to power cycle it?

Bingo filtor! It was the "HD normal" "SD normal" function that was messing up.
It was randomly changing for some reason.

I unplugged, held in power button, removed card, everything I could think of. After resetting itself the problem is gone.
