Hi,
Sorry if this topic was posted before, I couldn't find a definitive answer to my question.
I have a HK 3485 stereo receiver. It has two sets of speaker outputs labeled 1 and 2.
I want to connect two pairs of 8 ohm outdoor speakers in parallel to speaker output 1, and a third set of 8 ohm speakers to speaker output 2.
The receiver specs show 120 watts x2 @ 8ohms and 150 watts x2 @ 4 ohms.
This setup should be okay right? The first two pairs wired in parallel should present a 4 ohm load that the receiver is capable of handling. Am I correct?
Thanks,
Mark
