Today I was testing out my FPJ1 on the wall in the new HT room. I wanted to see if 110 inch was big enough for me or if I should go bigger. I should of just went with a 110 and not thought about it because now Im in love with the 126inch image..LOL! Good Thing Jason from AVS said to try going bigger.

Anyways I just had it setup on a little table. The image on the left side was higher then the right side. So I adjusted it and it was higher on the right side then the left. I finally almost got it perfect but its still 1/2 inch off. Is there a easy way to get the image perfectly leveled? Will it be easier once mounted on the ceiling or harder to get the picture just right.?

Does anyone have any tips to get this perfectly aligned?

I'm guessing that you may not have the PJ aligned perpendicular to the screen. If it's not square to the screen, one side of the image will be taller than the other side due to keystone effect. Try rotating the PJ a small amount towards the shorter side until the image is the same height on both sides. Then use lens shift to get the image centered on the screen. If necessary, you can then level the PJ to get things perfect.

I'll second FLBoy. If the projector is level (and it is easy to tell by measuring from the floor to the bottom of the image on both corners-should be the same)...but the top corners are different, then it is not perpendicular to the screen, and likely the projector isn't perfectly centered. One trick is to take a string...tape it to the upper corner (left or right) and run it back to the center of the lens. Mark on the string precisely where it touches the lens. Then move the string to the EXACT SAME position on the opposite corner, and run the string to the lens. If the lens is perfectly centered on the screen, then the mark on the string should be at the EXACT same position for both sides.
