I'm helping out a friend with a htib he got from cc before they closed,... He has a newer tivo (can get the model number if needed) and a apple tv in the room. Its the onkyo ht-s5100 with the ht-r560. Its just a hdmi pass thru. I took this to the local service center since the picture would leave after a bit of watching it, they replaced the hdmi board and sent it back, Now I get a hdcp not supported message once inawhile on the apple tv. Also I stopped by to take a look when he said tivo wasent working today, I had audio that is over optical. and no picture so I switched the hdmi to the 3rd input and swapped settings and it works, then switched back to port number one and no more issues.
Do you guys think its the onkyo switch having a hard time?
