Hope this can be answered.
While shooting video of a baseball game this past Thursday evening (18:00), I noticed that while some footage in HD was clear as a bell, some seemed to be distorted in a way I can only describe as a "heat wave" effect. As you might see when looking down a road , sunny day and that "wavy" effect you see. It appears on the lcd of the camera (Sony HDR SR7) and also when played back on my Samsung LCD.
The video is playing from the camera thru PS3 via HDMI into the Samsung LCD HDTV. It doesn't do this everytime, just seems to be on the important shots of course. Any ideas? Do I need a filter for the camera, do they even make such? The settings on the camera are all set to AUTO since I am very new to the video world of HD. I would really appreciate any and all suggestions to maybe help fix this problem.
Thank you in advance. dugd111
