Hey guys,

I am thinking about adding an air hockey table to my game room. I'm not looking to break the budget. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for under $500.

Thanks everyone.

Is the table going to get a lot of hard and heavy use?

Before I bought a home quality knockoff I would first try to find a used coin-op commercial table. You might have to pay a bit more but the durability and quality of the table will be more than worth it.

It's like any other game table - darts or pinball or foosball. The made-for-home models are no where near in the same class as commercial quality coin-op. At least that's our personal experience and we have had commercial arcade and pin games in our home since we bought our first pin in 1976.

Please don't misunderstand - there are nice non-commercial tables available - they just aren't as well construced and durable. I would look online and also contact commercial game route Operators - yellow pages under Amusement Devices - and you might find someone with an older table for sale.

For non-commercial the Fat Cat - Storm table looks pretty nice @ $500.00. See it a www.everygameroom.com.

Best of Luck

For such items, you can always bet someone out there has gotten tired of his own and is probably selling it already on http://ebay.com. I suggest you start there.

hi there,

you might wanna check out Twift.com's air hockey table (http://www.twift.com/electric-powered-extreme-hockey-table-p-85.html), about 5 ft. this is electic Powered and definitely a space saver..

they even have a smaller one around ft, a bigger one is available though if you're going for the big one that's about 7ft.
