Hi, I have a TH-42PWD6 Mar 2004 SN#YG4220919 it has no uy or ux after the model number. I have a 2IN white line from top of the screen to the bottom of the screen sometimes multi-colored at first then goes to white. If you break the screen into three colums it is on the thirds left side.
My research on this site has talked about the su board and sd board but thats if it stops at the have way point of the screen. i did find the link to panasonics parts web site on the list of parts available thay have a SS Board,PF Board, and a D Board is one of those boards the one that needs to be replaced?

While it is possible that there may be a defect in the "D" or "C" boards, sorry to say it is likely a defective panel.

If you do try to get a D board, be aware that there was a panel change mid-way through the model year and therefore a D board change. Check the silk screen model number near the power switch, look for a small A in a circle. If present, you have the newer model.
