I just noticed that pioneer elites are not 120hz, but 60hz. I've never noticed a blur on my elite, but my question is why wouldn't they make the 151fd 120hz, am I missing something somewhere?

120hz is an LCD-specific buzzword, primarily due to their tendency to blur. Plasma has a faster response time so doesn't need that type of feature. Pioneer, as you mention, utilizes 60hz for video-based playback, but does have a 72hz feature for film-based 1080p/24 sources, repeating each frame 3 times for smoother playback.

Could not agree more. At first glance, you are like "wow, this is amazing", but after you watch it for a few days you begin to notice how unnatural it looks.
