Repost from yesteraday

Looking at one of these two mounts as my top choice so far. I'm inclined to spend a few extra $$ on a tilting bracket so it's more future proof. I don't need tilting today, but should I need it in the future, I wouldn't have to re-buy a bracket if I got a fixed one today.

Sanus LL22 - Fixed (http://www.sanus.com/us/en/products/visionmount/low-profile-mount/LL22) or Sanus LT25 - Tilting (http://www.sanus.com/us/en/products/visionmount/tilting-mount/LT25)

My requires are something Low Profile (1.5-3" depth from wall), fully open center bracket, support for up to a 60" TV and at least 150lbs weight support, as well a being a "universal" mount to fit most all TV's out there (for VESA 100x100 and 400x600). I'm not looking to spend a ton of money either. These Sanus ones are more towards higher priced at $90 fixed and $130 tilting, versus others that can be had for $40-50 fixed and $60-70 tilting.

Two things I really like that I haven't found on another mount as of yet:
- ProSet - Post Installation height and level adjustments, so you don't have to be PERFECT with the bracket mount
- ClickStand - Allows the TV to be tilted away from the wall and locked in the tilt position for cable access

I've also been looking at the Omnimount 1N1-L - Fixed (http://www.omnimount.com/consumer/product.aspx?ProductId=011c8707-175f-4bc8-9e41-faec6c915bae) and Omnimount 2N1-L - Tilt (http://www.omnimount.com/consumer/product.aspx?ProductId=4a353710-5311-41ba-8dc7-a7752904293c)These are cheaper and meet all the requirements as well. But I'm thinking the few extra features the Sanus offers will be worth the $$.

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on other mounts to look at?

I personally prefer tilt mount. It helps me reduce glare once I tilted mine about 3-5 degree.

I chose the LT25 for my 58PZ800u for the features that it offer. The 58" is mounted over the fireplace and pre-drills into brick doesn't come out level. The Lateral Shift Adjustment allow me to center the tv over the mantel. The Open Wall Plate gave a clean look installation for my Pro Power Kit (monoprice) and cable wall plate (granted I could have installed below it). The Height and Level Adjustments allow the tv to be level and even at both end with the mantel. The ClickStand was very helpful, it gave me the clearance room to connect the cables because the mantel was on the way. And the Virtual Axis as you know gave the right tilt for my viewing. Hope this helps in making your decision.

Thanks for the feedback. It ended up being a $26 difference in the LL22 and LT25 so I sprung for the LT25. After I read a little more about how the tiilt requires no tools, I was sold on it. Even though I don't think I need any downward tilt with my current setup, I'm curious to find out if a slightly tilt with help with glare, and this mount seems like it will make it really easy to experiment.
