I just purchased a Bag End Infrasub-12 on eBay for $471.06 shipped. Apparently, it was rarely used and was liquidated from a real estate sales office in Florida so I feel like I got a great deal as I don't need a lot of output in my studio apartment. :D

I want to know if it will noticeably degrade the signal quality of my L/C/R preamp signals if I run them through the passive crossover on the sub, as recommended. I know that the crossover is designed to better blend the sub with the front speakers but I don't like the general concept of adding more copper to my signal path :confused:

Basically, should I use the bass management feature of the Bag End?
