Can someone with the Epson and the PS3 tell me what their settings are for HDTV (sports) and what for BluRay
BOTH on the PS3 as well as well the Espn settings - not talking about calibration, just the basic stuff.

b/c I'm getting blockiness when watching HDTV sports, I've played with the PS3 settings and found it to make a difference, can someone tell me what is optimal for HDTV (especially fast motion sports) viewing.

As far as I know there is no special setting on PS3 for handling fast motion videos like sports. You can try one of the FI settings on the 6500 to improve fast motion rendering. How are you playing your videos on the PS3. If you are streaming them over the net (even from your local home network), the blockiness would be due to the network not being able to keep up with the bit rate of the video.

Tried via USB flash drive - same the thing

also same video when shown on the LCD is excellent and sharp.

I found by turning all options on the PS3 off- that it helps the image, so instead of deducing which is the optimal settings, I was wondering if someone with the PS3 and Epson can send the settings that they use it'd help me from the detective work.
