When people said it was big I underestimated how much bigger big could be. That being said what are you guys using for a ceiling mount? My 44lb. ceiling mount does not have feet big enough to connect up to the screw in points.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can check the Chiefmfg site for compatibility.
My Marantz VP8600 has mounting holes spaced out too far for the universal mounts plus I am running an anamorphic lens, so I made a plate out of 11/16" plywood x 2

Chief makes a universal digital projector mount that works with the W5000 (and the last four projectors I've owned.

I had purchased one of the w5000's off the benq site for 1299 and was very excited that is until I fired it up. The Iris made a grinding noise. The case was scratched up. The feet look like the person had continually moved it around daily. The SD images looked very bad. I have a mits hd1000 and SD looked much better. The w5000 had better light output and the HD looked a little better. Overall I was very disappointed that the unit left benq this way so it is going back. I guess it is back to the drawing board for a good 1080P that won't break the bank.
