I am going to be in the US, in Florida but also Texas and California in July and would like to know where i can buy a projector , i want the Panasonic PTAE3000u or the epson 6500 UB

I would like to go to a store where i can walk in.

I would suggest ordering it online and having it dropped shipped to a relatives place, or your hotel if you're on business. I have done this in many instances being that I'm over the "BIG POND" in Japan.

If you want to demo these models, perhaps asking a forum member will work as I have found many guys in the same hobby are there to help fellow bros. looking to achieve the same goal: the perfect image.

The problem with on line is you want to hook it up and check it out before lugging what could be a shipping damaged projector home overseas. I think a store purchase is wise in this instance. The Panasonic is not often demonstrated because of a variety of reasons. You might want to go to the Epson and Panasonic websites for the US and use thje find a dealer if they have such a feature. Then call or email the store and ask if they have the unit or units on display. Further specify the date you will be there and making sure they have a unit for you to purchase there on that date.

Since you are going to be in three states, check to see which one has the lowest sales tax. CA and TX (I'm talking population, not size, so none of you Texans attack me) are the two largest states and FL is not far behind. I'm sure you can find a store with the model you want. I know Best Buy stores which is a very large chain sell the 6100, but not the 6500. As someone else already said, the best deals will be found online.
