Not sure this is the correct area but here goes...... I'm looking for a device (similar for example to Sony's HDMS-S1D, but hopefully less exspensive) that will allow a non-tech guy like myself to interface digital media cards and USB travel drives, etc with my HDTV. Now here's the catch, my tv is eight years old, so NO HDMI conectivity, component video only.
Basically all I want to do is perform a simple slide show on my TV with max resolution possible and be able to use various media storage formats.
