I think its close, but perhaps the edge to Velodyne simply cause they specialize in subs (thats all they make). What you guys think? Pricing is about equal between the two brands.

More than a Velo or Para debate it would come down to the specific models being compared. Overall though across the board I'd have to go with Velo. However the question is pointless unless one is going to purchase every model ever made by both companies and then count the number from each that was liked best.

I'm just talking in general. From what I was told and read, they both seem to be very close in terms of quality and performance. And warranty wise, both are 5 years.

I'll respect your wish by not bringing up other brands but I would point out there are many other choices out there than the two you listed, choices that aren't internet direct either. (I'm assuming that's what you meant by "ID")

The framework of the question is a bit limiting, but hey I understand wanting to narrow down choices sometimes.

Subs as in overall better subs and yes Velodyne has far better options, better subs in many many categories. Its not even a contest IMO.

Paradigm can have the high end designs, no problem there.
