Does anyone have this DVD A? What are your thoughts? I have it ordered from Tower and I am wondering if its worth it.

I don't have it, but some discussion of it here (http://www.quadraphonicquad.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2115) at QQ. They don't seem to like it :/

Well, you made me look...but I've got a different one ("African Herbsman"). It is probably one of the worst DVD-As I own, so I hope the one you mention is better.

It is one of the Silverline titles licensed from the Sanctuary deal. I am sure the source provided to Silverline was awful, probably mono, and the resulting stunning faux 5.1 has to be awful. I probably own it, I picked up a bunch of the Silverline/Sanctuary titles at a rummage sale last year and haven't gotten around to playing it yet. I do have the awful Desmond Dekker Silverline/Sanctuary DVD-A and listen to it once in a while, I am sure it was an attempt at expanding a mono source.

Pretty sure I have it (never quite remembered to check) and it's very underwhelming. Being Silverline, that's not exactly a surprise unfortunately.
