When I first purchased my Polk 10" sub about 6 months ago I thought it had a ton of bass, but after some amount of intent listening I've realized there isn't nearly enough bass for my current rooms size, about 3500 ft3. So with that said bass output and frequency response is of the utmost importance. Size, looks, and all other factors are not relavant except for price. I don't want to exceed $800, including shipping. It will be almost used 100% for music, the only time I ever really crank it. I've looked at models from eD, SVS, Epik and just about every other sub company out there and can't make a decision. (subs aren't my forte anyway) I won't be buying right away, the funds just aren't there, but I need the help of you guys to help me make my final decision.

i have an Epik Sentinel on order for my 2500 cubic ft room. i should have it Wednesday. a few others have it and really like it. it will be just under 900 shipped. it seems to be the best bang for the buck out there, especially considering it's size.

have u considered doing duals...
eD's A2-300
or
SVS PB10

duals will offer more than a single even a larger single

My bad. I was just guessing the dimensions of my room and i was about 1100 cubic feet off. Total size of the room is actually only about 2400ft, not nearly the 3500 I originally guessed. So will the SVS PB-10 be adequate?
