I pulled the trigger and purchased the Panasonic 50" G10 at Best Buy yesterday. I chose to have it delivered. They said the earliest system date available for delivery is September 9th! They don't actually anticipate shipping on that date, but this is the default worst case scenario delivery date given to them by the Panasonic factory. They explained that all the Best Buys in my corridor (the Northeast) are out of the G10 and that they were waiting for a shipment from Panasonic. Checking BB's web site confirms that almost every store in the Northeast is out of the G10.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Is Panasonic experiencing production delays on the G10?

Amazon also has them in stock. I only went with Best Buy because they have a good financing offer. I might give them a week and see if they get any in.

if you sign up for the amazon VISA, you can get 30 bucks off and 24 months of no interest financing...this is what I plan to do when i purchase a G10 in the next couple weeks.

Yeah the no interest finance is definitely appealing..Shouldn't be too much of a delay i'd say http://***************/9/F/i.jpghttp://***************/9/P/i.jpg

September 9th? That's just absurd. HDTVs take a while to roll out to stores, but not more than a couple months...and it's already been over a month I'm pretty sure.

I just added a 54G10 to my cart at sears.com and was given a delivery date of 5/29.
