I have seen that is 60hz and I know that all plasmas play in 60hz. My question i saw a bunch of panasonic plasmas have marketed theres as 480hz and up 600hz sub fields. I know it is a marketing gimic vs lcd's but i was wondering what the pioneer 5020fd is capable of in sub field hz in comparable to the panasonics?
Thanks
D-Nice once mentioned in another thread that if Pio wanted to play the sub hz field game, then the Pios would be something like 800 and something subfield hz.

I think you mean "KURO". In answer to your question, the KURO sets can also run at a frame rate of 72 Hz, when they are fed a 24 Hz frame rate from a source such as a Blu-ray player (See manual for settings). That way, it displays each frame three times (3 X 24 = 72). However, I do not know what range of frame rates the sets can accomodate, if you are trying to drive it with video from a computer, etc.

Is that for every pioneer plasma 1080p that they are in 800hz range?

Is that accurate if pioneer played the sub field hz game that the 5020 would be in the range of 800hz?
