Well I have been looking to pull the plug on a new system and I was thinking about either eD a2/a3-300 or PB10/12-NSD.

These are quite deep however (21"). I could pull it off but I would have to do some rearranging. I realize that the PB12 will also put me at around $650 (s/h).
And the next higher up sub line from SVS (which is smalller) would put me over $700.

So is there a sub along these lines that will fit my request?

I know eD can make subs with custom dimensions. Is the 15" depth the only issue? Will you be able to go wide or tall to make up for the lack of depth? You might see if eD can draw up something with performance similar to the A2-300 with custom dimensions to fit your space. I don't know what premium they charge for custom enclosures, but I'd think that the premium would be under $200 (the A2-300 is $350). Just a thought...
