My gf wants me to recommend a tv for her to buy. Is the Kuro still the king or are these newer LCD tv's just as good or better? I've been outta the loop for a while and havent really had time to read reviews on the newer LCDs.

If it's in her budget and you can still find one, then yes, the Kuros are still considered the best TV's.

Also, check out the Panasonic G10 plasmas or the new Samsung plasmas for a lower priced alternative.
