Hello. I have a question about the DVE calibration disc. When I get to calibrate my colors, am I supposed to try to match Blue, Green, and Red to the background as much as possible? Right now I have 2 settings (Standard and Pure) setup with the colors matching the background (when I look through the color filters). Is this right?

Also, I like a more blue picture so I keep my settings on mid or mid high, will that cause problems? I cant stand the excessive yellowish colors of the lower temps or manual settings.

Thanks a ton!

well if your on a higher color temp and your still getting the colors to match the background, which is surprising, then you should be just fine. if your having any variance, try adjusting the primaries and secondaries in the user menu. also try the avshd709 disc for download in the calibration forums. much better than dve, and free too.

Blue is spot on, Red is slightly darker than the background (because I have the black enhance thing on MID) and green matches near perfectly. I cant stand the warmer color tones that make everything yellow, so I guess this is as close as I will get.

Ill try that disc though, thank you!
