I've gotten myself an APEX 24 inch flat CRT. It looks good but it has some convergence issues. I don't know the model since it wasn't in the chasis. Can someone help me to ID it and help me to fix the conversion? The unit has rear inputs for component, svideo, composite, and tuner. It has front composite inputs.

Post a pic please?
Not all CRTs have convergence settings in the menu, most cheap ones don't. If it's a "generic" set chances are it won't have hardware adjustments either, so you're stuck with it the way it is. Look for any screw-like thingies on the deflection yoke. If they aren't there, it can't be converged.
Thanks. Got it. This is supposedly an apex 24 inch flatbut it was taken out of the chasis for mounting. Is there a way to i'd the make and model by looking at the board or something?

Yeah, it should be printed on the board itself. But please post a picture of the menu.
I found out it was a DS24425. Is there a service mode?

Looks like it's actually a Sanyo. Do a search for Sanyo Service manual that model, lots of places charge but if you search hard enough you sometimes get lucky and find a place where the service manual is posted for free download.
SO far I haven't had any luck. Is there any place you recommend? I started a thread on this.
