Newbie question - will the introduction of bass traps help contain some of the bass from traveling outside the room? I am doing clips on ceiling, staggered studs, dd+gg and planned on bass traps in the front corners. I understand that they are there as acoustical treatments, but is there an added benefit of containment?

Base traps are more about giving you clean, tight base in the room than it is about sound isolation.
