This all stems from 7.1 audio loss and freezing up when in play mode, or sticking in stop or still. thought the update from 2.34 to 2.46 would help things.

I hate to state the obvious but you should be asking this in the thread for your player in the Blu-ray players forum. You might want to start with a search in that thread.
