Hi,
A simple but a for me challenging question is, how can I improve my basements acoustics, without making any permanent changes (so no paint or drywall or similair), at a fairly low cost (1000$ is the absolute max and im not even sure about this, prefer cheaper solutions).
Currently there is woodpanneling all around and i think a linoleum kind of floor.
Behind the woodpanneling there are just 2 by4s and behind the 2x4 is either concrete or cementblocks.
The tv and front speakers will be against an outside wall which will not directly connect with my neighbours.
I was thinking for the floor a big area rug, and maybe for the wall some wall rugs. I also read that somebody placed curtains along his walls which I thought was a good idea.
The reason I dont want to invest to much or change to much is because its a rented property and I would have to change everything back to original. I also dont like to invest to much in a property thats not my own ( i rather put this towards a down-payment)
Any suggestions or comments?
