I'm sure this is something simple, but I've been searching for the past hour or so to no avail.

The TV is new and was a floor model at Best Buy. Every time I change any settings they revert back to "neon" mode the next time it's turned on or the input is changed.

From what I've been able to gather the set is in Demo Mode, but I can't get it to turn off. The one set of directions I did find said to hit menu, 0, QV, 0 to disable demo mode, but that didn't work. When I do it nothing happens, and the next time it's turned on it's back to where it started.

I'm sorry for the n00bness of this, and if I fail at searching I'm sorry.

Thanks,
Matthew

EDIT: This is a 2008 model if that helps at all.

Settings are set and saved separatly for each interface connection since the charasteritics of each source are not the same. Picture size settings are normally set and saved separatly for each resolution over each interface connection.

Never heard of demo mode on Mits. Try doing an AV reset- on remote press menu 123.

If that doesn't work, try doing a factory reset- on remote press menu 2470 select "initialize" press enter, wait for it to finish then press reset on front panel.

I should have been a bit more clear. I'm only using one input on the set, HDMI 1. Powering down and back on erases all settings that I change, from display to audio.

For some unknown reason, most Mits sets will not "remember" settings and revert back to factor defaults each time you turn them on until after you have gone through the ANT1 and ANT2 setup steps.....even if you don't use the ANT1/2 inputs.....
After you memorize the channels the rest of the user configurable settings will also be remembered on power up.....its even that way on the new Laservue set.
