I was quoted 91 cents per sq. foot for 2"(unbacked) stuff and 64cents per sq foot for the 1" (frk)
seems like a pretty decent price to me.

Now I just gotta figure out how much i need - do those of you who've worked with the stuff find that you needed more than you originally planned?

I paid $1.33sf of 1 inch shipped to my house. One case of 12.

I paid 54 cents per Sq ft for OC703 1" and $ 1.02 per Sq ft for 2". 2 boxes of 1" OC703 (24 2x4 sheets in each box) and 2 boxes of 2" OC703 (12 2x4 sheets per box). I ordered both the 1" and 2" through SPI and picked the boxes up from their local distribution warehouse here in San Antonio.

I ended up paying $1.10/ sq ft for the Johns Manville equivalent - 814 series, they call it Spin-Glas. I bought 24 two inch thick sheets (2' x 4") to do two corners - 7 1/2' stage to ceiling and had 1/2 sheet left over.
