Hoping you guys could help out here. While in the process of building my HT, I am replacing my thermostats for my baseboard heaters and need to find a 2 gang wide, but only single gang opening electrical box. I could have sworn I saw a single gang opening 2x wide box before but cannot seem to locate any info on one. I need it for my heater wiring as the current setup has to many wires/pigtails to fit comfortably into a single gang box. The current thermostat has a custom 2 gang wide box with single gang opening. Unfortunately, I cannot mount the new thermostat onto this existing box. Any ideas?

Leviton also makes one with a toggle switch opening and a receptacle opening. For some reason, they are all metal (stainless or brass), but you could paint it.
