hi
i have the hdd and dvd video recorder RD-XS38 so i went to the ir controls on the setup menu. i switched it from dr 1 to dr 3 which normally wouldnt be a problem since i did it before and fixed it anyway the manual says i should press easy navigation and 1 for dr 1 2 for dr 2 and 3 for dr3 i need dr 1 but now nothing happens when i do that. i bought new batteries and still have the same problem once i kept pressing easy nav and 1 over and over and over and the screen that normally comes up for easy navi did come up but my remote still could not access it so that wasnt helpfull but i do wonder how did the button work for that second when the remote doesnt work. i realy would like to know is it possible to do anything directly from the dvr withouth the remote besides recording and playing the last thing recorded and also how can i get it back on dr 1 the manual also says if i press the ch buttons on teh dvr for 3 seconds i can turn of he dr but still the remote doesnt work with that so theres no point in that o any updated firmware some where if any one can help me thanks
