Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and hope I am posting correctly and in the right place.

I have a popcorn A100 player that came with some HD films already loaded in mkv format, I have connected to my JVC Tv using a HDMI cable, on playback I get superb video quality but no audio.
I have checked in setup and the HDMI audio is set to on but still no sound.
If I playback an AVI film the sound is ok but obviously the video quality is not as good.
My friend took the unit and he uses the optical out on the popcorn which played video and sound ok on his tv.
I have no optical in on my tv so this is not an option for me, is there any way I can get around this problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated........thanks in advance.
