I could rant for several posts on what I have gotten from the Mits tech phone support. Forget it. I give up on them They don't even know their own product. READ FRUSTRATED!

I have a new WD-73835. I have an older Onkyo HT-R510 AV receiver. This receiver has no provision for HDMI control. All I want the TV to do is switch to the appropriate input on the Onkyo when the tv input is changed.

I taught the TV all the AVR commands and discrete input IR commands as well. I assigned the AV inputs to the devices connected to the TV. The TV seems to send no IR signals at all to the AVR. Does not turn on/off or switch to the correct input.

Do we have a netcommand expert that can help?

Look into your owners Manual. Netcommand starts at page 50 and goes to page 63. But I think you need whats starts on page 60 for your setup.

Yes, I have been through the manual. Heck, I was having to correct the Mitsubishi tech support and explain what the manual says to them.

I really need someone that has NetCommand and knows exactly how it should work using IR emmitters to drive the AV receiver.

OK try this
Menu
goto inputs
goto AVR
goto inputs 1/2/3/4/5
use input 1 for your AVR
1 To learn the input keys. Key 1 for AVR press enter ont the TV remote.
2 While text is flashing, press and hold the input key on the AVR remote that you want setup to use.
3 When the check appears release the input key.
I hope this helps

Now for input 2 repeat steps.
So if your input key is DVD then hold the input key down from your AVR remote for DVD.
And So on
