How can I get into the service menu to check the hours on 9G - PDP 5020FD

can I use the factory remote like on the 8G or do i have to have a service remote...?

The service menu is a dangerous place for novices and if you screw something up you can void your warranty. If you think there is a service remote then that's even more reason for you to stay out. :)

Thanks for the tip - however, I'm just looking to check the hours on the set... and have no intention of changing the settings.
