I'm needing some help purchasing a wall mount for my LG 42LH40. I've had it for over a month, and have been purchasing new equipment every now and then to upgrade.

I'm not all through my speaker installation, still have the left and right of my seat to complete for behind me. Probably ordering those this week once I get some money.

But below are some pictures of my setup, and how tightly cramped it is with the Boston CS 225C Center speaker. Notice how they are lined back to back with eachother, and that my LG goes to the back of my TV stand.

Therefore, I think it's more applicable to just mount the LG on the wall. I noticed on the web how flat wall mounts are cheaper than ones that tilt and swivel. I wouldn't mind one that swivels so I could turn it for the proper viewing space.

Check my photos and give me some input. I understand it will probably set me back $150 or plus, but I want to buy the correct one for my HDTV.

Thanks for your opinions.

it is obviously a matter your choice but you should be able to get good setup with a tilting mount for much less that 150. i prefer the tilting ones as they make the cable additions/changes much easier. however, they do add a couple of inches of space to the wall but that is hardly noticeable.

good luck and enjoy

It really does depend on your taste and what you want to do...

I went with a fixed flush mount, because when you exit my kitchen, you are looking straight down the wall the tv is mounted on, so i wanted it to be as SNUG to the wall as possible.

Otherwise, id probablly get a tilting mount for easy of wire access.
