Anyone have a problem with plasma tv temporarily going to black. We've owned 2 Panasonic plasma tv's for 4 years on cable with no problems. Recently switched to Dish Satellite and began experiencing temporary black screens on both tv's. Have other tv's in the house (not plasma) and they aren't having this problem. Both Plasmas share a dual DVR, and the non-plasma tv sharing the box does not go to black when the plasma does. The black screen only lasts a couple of seconds, the sound does not go off, and the episodes happen at infrequent times. Does not happen when the channel is being changed. Any suggestions?

I have the same display and am having exactly the same issue. It started for me about two weeks ago when Verizon replaced a STB that they thought was giving me trouble. Like your set-up, it's a DVR. I have it connected with components. When I get a chance I'm going to try HDMI and see if it makes a difference. Would love to hear from others that have had similar issues.

I've had this happening for over three years. First with a cablecard which is what I thought was the problem. But, a couple years ago, we added a HDDVR ( with HDMI cable) and it still occasionally just drops the picture for a few seconds. The missing seconds do show up when rewinding the dvr.
