Does anyone have a list of defaults or suggested calibration settings. I tried using the Service Manual for the TXN266WHF in the Factory Adjustment Values section...but it does not list the model number for which the manual is for in the list. So I tried the the TXN2670WHF F.A.V. settings and I think it looks worse than it did. If anyone can suggest some setting it would be appreciated. I might purchase a calibration DVD, the only problem I see with that is I would only be able to access the the 480p offset and video adjust area of the service menu and not the 1080i offset and deflection as it locks the menus out unless that is what type of signal it is receiving.

Could you please move the thread then? Is the only way to get it calibrated on all display menu is to have some one do it? I do computer repairs, not televisions...I already charged a good amount to just touch the thing. Double of how much two service manuals cost me. What would you say the average calibration would run? Defiantly got in over my head on this one, though I find calibration interesting, I do not have the time to learn or the money to buy additional tools at this time.

You could use an up-converting DVD player. Contact local calibrators for pricing. There is no average. You will have to start a new thread in the direct view CRT section.
