Hey, so I just got this panisonic 720 plasma and was reading reviews and people say it looks way better when calibrated right. So with saying that does anyone have this tv that is calibrated that can give me some hints, I'm not real good with electronics but don't wanna pay $300 for a pro install please help thanks

Use a test disc and follow the instructions. Straight forward as long as you can read english and follow instructions.

Conversely ... the thx optimode on any thx dvd has patterns and simple instructions to do some basic tweaking. It's free ... since you likely already have discs that have that.

Copying settings from other people is not calibration.
