I have TViX 4100 and I use Netshare on my pc so I can connect via NFS to stream video.
Now I got me a WDTV and using custom firmware and apps, managed to connect it to the network using a wireless dongle.
Problem is, I cannot connect from the WDTV to the NFS share on my PC.
When I telnet to the WDTV and type the following command:
xmount x.x.x.x:/tvixhd1 myfiles nfs
(x.x.x.x being my pc's IP of course...)
I get:
mount: RPC: Unable to receive; errno = Connection refused
on the other hand, I also have iomega StorCenter ix2 (NAS device), and using the same command (different IP...) I CAN mount an NFS share.
So, is the netshare program only designed to work with DVICO devices?
Do I need to add something else to my command?
Did anyone manage to connect to a netshare NFS share using a linux machine?
Thanks for you help!
