You could try asking in the firmware thread. If im not mistaken there are unofficial translations for languages not suported by the WDTV.

Or better yet, contact WD, or at the least the UserVoice forum, I seriously doubt they spend a lot of time sifting through the endless BS here looking for things to fix.
