I'm tempted to get a popcorn hour A-100 but my only concern is that it doesn't support surround sound. Is this a valid concern? I want to stream hulu and some other web content (as well as some media I have stored on my network). I am not sure if I am better served getting the A-110. That said, is any web content even in 5.1?

I believe Hulu is stereo, not 5.1, and would expect this to be pretty common among online content. Are you planning on using the PlayOn service to get online content to the PCH? FYI, never owned the A-100 but do have the A-110.

The a-100 supports surround.... have no idea why you think it does not...

very little web content is 5.1. hulu certainly is not....

Sorry, thought I had written that in my response as well, I agree with Sean that the A-100 DOES support surround.
