Does anyone know the difference between the i1pro and i1photo? I read somewhere that the i1photo uses the i1pro tech. Just looking for clarification before making a purchase.

Looking to calibrate a pioneer plasma (krp-500m)The i1Pro is a hardware device--a spectrophotometer that is supported by several video calibration software packages. The i1Photo is X-Rite's own software/hardware bundle that includes the i1Pro. It is a discontinued product that has been replaced by the i1 Basic
