So I won it through a raffle. Do I keep it or sell it?
I read somewhere it could do GPS. Is that true?

View Full Version : I won a PSP 2000. fatmanosu 06-19-09, 04:05 PM So I won it through a raffle. Do I keep it or sell it? I read somewhere it could do GPS. Is that true? todrigo 06-19-09, 04:08 PM or you could keep building karma and randomly give it to the first person who responds in your thread. Martez 06-19-09, 04:31 PM Or build extra-awesome karma and give it to the second person. Kevuda 06-19-09, 04:35 PM Or you could get extra extra karma by smashing it into little pieces and sending the fragments to the first three repliers...wait... I could be wrong, but I don't think it does GPS on it's own. You could try and sell it, but being that it's an older model, I'm not sure you'd get top dollar for it. People say it's great for old games, as you can put emulators and stuff on it to play your old favorites from various consoles. I'd just keep it and score some cheap games like this guy: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1156606 bryansj 06-19-09, 04:49 PM Or you could get extra extra karma by smashing it into little pieces and sending the fragments to the first three repliers...wait... You would have to check to see if your PSP 2000 fits the definition of older since there seems to be multiple versions of it. KingShorty 06-19-09, 05:13 PM Congrats... you're just winning things left and right. The PSP cannot do GPS just yet although the tech was demoed two years ago. It should be coming some time in October in time for the PSP Go! launch. Martez 06-19-09, 05:17 PM It does GPS with an adapter: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-bh-49-en-70-1mij.html KingShorty 06-19-09, 05:19 PM It does GPS with an adapter: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-bh-49-en-70-1mij.html Well, you could buy the adapter or just wait for the software to become native on the PSP. The choice is yours! fatmanosu 06-19-09, 05:36 PM If only I had won the hud contest I could have FFT for the psp and the PS3. I am not sure about smashing it. I already did that with my notebook once and I was said while it got replaced. Gamestop said they would give me $55 for it. They sell them used for $140. Lord_Zath 06-19-09, 05:48 PM Dell just had a sale on psp 2000's for 112 + tax. Cygnus311 06-19-09, 06:53 PM Now go win a pandora battery and some 16 bit emulators... DarrellG 06-19-09, 09:01 PM Now go win a pandora battery and some 16 bit emulators... This. But don't forget the 8 bits. They need some lovin' too. rdank 06-19-09, 10:41 PM Yes, steal whatever you want. Heck, don't stop at games, go grab a newer model in a store somewhere. hdtv00 06-20-09, 01:19 AM Ok think I'll do just that, thanks for the tip. |
