I could be wrong, but I don't think it does GPS on it's own. You could try and sell it, but being that it's an older model, I'm not sure you'd get top dollar for it. People say it's great for old games, as you can put emulators and stuff on it to play your old favorites from various consoles. I'd just keep it and score some cheap games like this guy:

I would be willing to say that an older model would bring top dollar since the newer ones aren't as easily custom firmware upgradeable. You would have to check to see if your PSP 2000 fits the definition of older since there seems to be multiple versions of it.

The PSP cannot do GPS just yet although the tech was demoed two years ago. It should be coming some time in October in time for the PSP Go! launch.

Well, you could buy the adapter or just wait for the software to become native on the PSP.
