Hi. I recently bought an Eye-One Display 2, and apart from using it to calibrate my display, I want to try it for a specific task in filmmaking (to use it as a light color meter).
I would like to know which are the different softwares which work with this meter, and also want to know if there is any which gives a direct ēK result.
I already know of these:

CalMan (couldn't make the demo version to work, didn't understand the license thing, I suppose there must be a way to make it work for a few days or with limitations as a demo).
Color HCFR (best until now for light measurements, but doesn't work with i1display2 in Mac OS).
ColorEyes Display Pro (GREAT for display calibration, even controls the monitor through DDC2).
Eye-One Match (It's OK...).

Also, is there any other display calibration software which controls the monitor through DDC2?

Thanks,
Rodrigo.

I use an Eye-One Display2 with the GretagMacbeth/X-rite Eye-One Match v3.6.2 profiling software with my LaCie Electron 22" Blue IV CRT computer monitor. It uses DDC2 to auto-calibrate the Lacie CRT monitor (re-badged/modified Mitsubishi 2070SB) so that the complete operation is "hands-off". However, there are a limited number of displays which are supported in this fashion with the Eye-One Match v3.6.2 software.

I believe the following is the current list of supported display models in the Eye-One Match v3.6.2 DDC2 auto-calibration mode:

Eizo CG18
Eizo CG19
Eizo CG21
Eizo CG210
Eizo CG220

LaCie Electron 22 Blue IV
LaCie Electron 22 Blue III
LaCie Electron 19 Blue IV
LaCie Electron 19 Blue III

Mitsubishi DP930 SB
Mitsubishi DP2070 SB

NEC LCD2060NX
NEC FP1375X
NEC FP2141SB

IBM P275

Sony SDM-S205F/K

Hewlett Packard Model p1230

Thanks.
I didn't know Eye-One Match could use DDC control. Anyway I'm OK with Coloreyes Display Pro, my display is a cheap TN panel Samsung 2032NW, and the software controls its brightness and RGB values.

I still want to know if there are other programs for RGB/xyY/XYZ... (direct data) measurements.
The only one I found until now is Color HCFR.

Thanks,
Rodrigo
