It's been a fun....interesting first day of M34A ownership. hehe


I'm trying to transfer about 46 gigs of Data from my external HDD (1.5 TB seagate NTFS formatted) to an internal HDD hooked up to the M34A externally via the included wire.


The file transfer process is going on about 3 hours now. It says has 3/3 items....gets to 39% than resets back to 3/3 items and 0%. I just checked again, it now gets up to 3/3 items 57% than resets back to 0% 3/3 items.



Is this normal? Will it eventually reach 100% and be finished?

I'm going to answer my own questions. :D


The file transfer was a success!! It just take ALONG time, about 5 hours to move about 50gigs. I guess what I described above is the process it goes through.

I think if you hooked up the external drive to a pc and ftp the files over it would be way faster.

As the processer can't handle a lot going on. such as reading from one drive and copying to another.
